AUTUMN HALF TERM FAMILY FUN, INCLUDING ‘FREE WEDNESDAY’, AT CREWE HERITAGE CENTRE
Crewe Heritage Centre is offering a packed programme of family fun this half term including FREE admission on Wednesday 29 October.
As the leaves turn and the air grows crisp, Crewe Heritage Centre is embracing the magic of the season with a series of exciting autumn events for all ages. From spooky train rides and creative crafts to model railway celebrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're a railway enthusiast, a curious visitor, or a family looking for spooky fun, our upcoming events promise to warm hearts and spark imaginations.
Special Events at Crewe Heritage Centre over the Half Term week:
Saturday 25 October (10.00-16.00) & Sunday 26 October (10.00-15.30)
We are excited to welcome back the Modern Image O Gauge (MIOG) Exhibition. This family-friendly event features a spectacular variety of model railway layouts and traders, with support from Locomotive Services Group, blending full-size rolling stock with meticulously crafted models to inspire enthusiasts of all ages.
This year’s exhibition holds special meaning as the MIOG community honours the memory of Colin Burgess, a beloved member who passed away in June 2024 after a courageous battle with prostate cancer. In tribute to Colin’s legacy, MIOG has launched a fundraising campaign aiming to raise £20,000 for prostate cancer research and awareness over the next 13 months.
Donations can be made via the MIOG JustGiving page, or by attending the exhibition and supporting the cause in person (admission charges apply).
