Then, turn these discoveries into your own unique fabric prints using the textures and raised surfaces you find. We’ll be using eco-friendly, water-based inks, and all materials are provided. Local History Month Spotlight: Creative Fun with Crewe Lyceum Theatre!

Join us for a creative and fun-filled workshop inspired by Northern Ballets production of Hansel and Gretel (coming to the Lyceum Theatre on Sat 7 June). This interactive experience invites young people and families to design their own sets and create personalised Hansel and Gretel costumes and characters. Participants will learn about the rich history of the Lyceum Theatre, exploring its fascinating past while unleashing their imagination.

Crewe Lyceum Theatre has been entertaining the people of Cheshire and far beyond since opening its doors back in 1911. David Owen, the resident historian of the theatre will be joining our local history month spotlight to give a presentation on the current theatre and its predecessors. He will also be talking about the various shows that he has worked on over many years and the fascinating characters that he has met. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and to share your memories of the theatre and the various performances, which you have enjoyed.
