Saturday 6 September: Open to Visitors including Tracks through Time: A Community Rail Mural & Design Your Own Railway Worker Hat with Artist Francesca Chinnery

Visit the Crewe Heritage Centre for a fun family day out. Open 10am-4.30pm (last admission 3.30pm)

Explore our Crewe at War Exhibition, Signal Boxes, Model Railways, Miniature Railway, Cafe, Shop and much more.

Join artist Francesca Chinnery for a drop-in creative workshop to celebrate 200 years of railway history with a collaborative community mural. Families are invited to draw, paint, and print their own railway memories, stories, and future ideas onto a giant canvas inspired by Crewe’s rich rail heritage. Your artwork will become part of a living mural both displayed and continually contributed to at the museum at certain points throughout the year.

Get ready for your first day working on the track!! Design your own Railway Workers hat and badge, which railway role will you choose?
