Saturday 21 June: Open to Visitors including Interactive Railway Safety & Working on the Railway talks

As part of Rail Safety Week, Network Rail Operations Interface Specialist Stephen Kay, will be at the Crewe Heritage Centre on Saturday 21st June 2025 all day, performing scheduled talks all day! He will be explaining how to stay safe when using trains, what signs and markings mean, and most of all how to stay safe around the Railway focusing on the importance of “staying off the tracks!” 

He will also teach Crewe Heritage Visitors, young and old, about the dangers of trespassing on the railway, the impacts to customers and staff, and most importantly, what could happen to you if you do(!)

He will also talk about the great careers on the railway, explaining how to apply or what you can do to make it easier to join [as long as you are old enough!].

The talks are open to all ages come along listen, learn and ask Stephen some questions!

Visit the Crewe Heritage Centre for a fun family day out. Open 10am-4.30pm (last admission 3.30pm)
